AGROLAB Ibérica (Tarragona) has been designated by the Ministry of Health as an official laboratory for the analysis of food products and materials in contact with food from third countries.

 

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/625 of the European Parliament and of the Council of March 15, 2017, the competent authorities must designate official laboratories, which have the necessary experience, equipment and infrastructure and with sufficient personnel with the appropriate qualification and training, to carry out the analysis of samples collected in the context of official controls.

To ensure robust and reliable results, such laboratories must be assessed and accredited according to the standard EN ISO/IEC 17025 and be accredited according to this standard by a national accreditation body operating in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17025 with Regulation (EC) 765/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of July 9, 2008.

 

AGROLAB Ibérica (Tarragona) has been designated by the Ministry of Health as an official laboratory for the analysis of food products and materials in contact with food from third countries. The scope of the designation covers the analysis of aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, G2) and total, Ochratoxin A, Zearalenone, Deoxynivalenol, Toxins T-2, HT-2 and total, Fumonisins B1, B2 and total, Melamine, Additive E-320 (Butylhydroxyanisole, BHA) and E-321 (Butylhydroxytoluene, BHT), Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead, Mercury, Detection of Salmonella spp and Plate count of Listeria Monocytogenes.
