No further authorisation for Ipconazole
The authorisation of the fungicidal active ingredient ipconazole will not be renewed and will expire earlier than originally scheduled.
Fruit and Vegetables: Approval for pesticide actives extended
The approval period for 40 active substances was extended in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/918 of 4.5.23 amending EU Regulation 540/2011. It is valid from 8.5.23.
Change of MRLs for Phosmet and further actives
Up-to-date information on changes to MRLs for fruit and vegetables will be compiled here following their publication. However, we do not announce any EU projects of this kind.
Approval of Pyridalyl shortened by one year
The approval of the active substance Pyridalyl is shortened because the EU Commission has not received an application for renewal of the authorisation.
Pyridalyl is an insecticide. It has been authorised in the EU since 2014 but has not been used in any plant protection products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

New EU contaminants regulation in force!
On May 5th, the old Contaminants Regulation (EU) 1881/2006 was replaced by a completely revised new version - Regulation (EU) 2023/915 - which contains numerous improvements as well as amendments and additions to the maximum levels. It entered into force on 25.5.2023.
New Regulation on Foodstuffs for Certain Consumer Groups (LMBVV)
