AGROLAB IBERICA in Burgos

Just one yeaer after the purchase of a plot of land, the new 3,200m2 laboratory has opened its doors in Burgos.

AGROLAB has shown enormous growth in the Burgos and Tarragona sites since the acquisition of "Laboratorios Vidal" in 2008. Due to the positive economic situation, the two laboratories reached the limits of their capacity ten years later. In order to further strengthen its presence in Spain, a plot of land was purchased in Burgos in 2018 and the construction of a new and modern laboratory to AGROLAB standards began.

One year later, the Spanish team in Burgos was able to move into the new premises. With 3200m², the new laboratory, which specialises in feed and food analysis, provides enough space to be able to offer a wide portfolio in the future and to become a full liner. In addition to the new premises, AGROLAB also invested in state-of-the-art analytical equipment. A wide range of residue analysis methods is currently being introduced. In the future, customers will therefore be able to benefit from a larger analysis portfolio, especially in the residue area, and from faster delivery times.

Jorge Fernandez, Site Manager AGROLAB Iberica, is looking forward to the future with great enthusiasm: "Our target is to develop the best specialist laboratory in Spain. We have all the necessary resources to meet the enormous demands of the Spanish feed and food market".
