We’ve expanded our accreditation for MCPD analysis using the fully automated Zwagerman GC method for edible oils, fats and oleochemicals.
We analyse 2-MCPD, 3-MCPD and glycidyl fatty acid esters in edible oils and fats and oleochemicals derived from these raw materials. The new method promises a significant time advantage over the conventional method ("Unilever method"), which we continue to offer as an alternative. In the best case, analytical results can now be available 4-6 h after sample receipt instead of 3 working days as before.
Within the edible oil and fat analysis we will focus on residue and contaminant analysis e.g. phthalates, pesticides and (comprehensive) MOSH-MOAH analysis.
