Award ceremony with Christian Lindner (FDP) at the Deutsche Historische Museum Berlin on 17 November.

After a multi-stage selection process, 29 companies have reached the finals of the “Entrepreneur of the Year” competition, one of them being Dr. Paul Wimmer of AGROLAB GmbH in Bruckberg, in the district of Landshut. “I am very pleased to be among the finalists, as I was in 2013 and 2016. This honour is not solely my own, but was earned equally by all employees of AGROLAB,” Dr. Paul Wimmer, CEO of AGROLAB GmbH, on reaching the final round.

AGROLAB has received several awards in the past years, some even multiple times. “Bayerns Best 50“ (best 50 companies in Bavaria) four times, “MSG Top 100“ six times, as well as “Der Große Preis des Mittelstands“ (German award for medium-sized companies), “Best Business Award“ and “European Best 500“, among others. Consequently, the group of laboratories can be viewed as a flagship among medium-sized companies in the Landshut region.

“Entrepreneur Of The Year“ is one of the most distinguished awards for entrepreneurs around the world. For more than 30 years, EY has honoured selected entrepreneurs and company owners from more than 60 countries for their outstanding achievements. The prize is awarded in the categories Industry, Services and IT, Consumer Products and Trade, Digital Transformation, and Start-up. In addition, EY awards a prize for an exemplary family-run company and an entrepreneurial personality for their outstanding social commitment.

The award ceremony will take place in the Deutsche Historische Museum in Berlin on 17 November. Christian Lindner (German politician, FDP) will hold the dinner speech at this festive gala event which will focus on the winners and finalists of the competition.
