your tasks will be

  • Managing the team as well as planning the activities.
  • Performing internal audits.
  • Follow-up of quality administration.
  • Follow-up stock consumables.
  • Customer contacts for scheduling sample taking.
  • Consultation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Thinking along about possible optimizations for the team and the samplings.
  • Follow up on regulations for samplings and implement them.
  • If necessary, be able to go on the road yourself for samples.

YOUR PROFIL

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with environmental, technical or chemical direction, or equivalent through experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience within an environmental and/or analytical environment.
  • Experience in managing a team.
  • Knowledge of current software such as MS office.
  • Driver's license B is required.
  • Given the mobile nature of this function, appropriate physical fitness is necessary.
  • As one of the faces of the organization, you are customer-friendly.
  • Solution-oriented

Job related competencies

  • Demonstrable experience with the different types of sampling on different aqueous matrices.
  • Be familiar with the applicable regulations for sample taking (WAC, CMA, CvGP), be able to apply them, present them to team members and be able to audit.
  • Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and procedures.
  • Planning, both for yourself and for the team

Leadership skills

  • Guiding the samplers through the daily activities.
  • Being able to take charge as well as lead
